Guernsey Post is delighted to announce that its commemorative stamp to mark the birth of HRH Prince George of Cambridge, has received royal approval from Her Majesty the Queen and the Duke of Cambridge.
The miniature sheet displaying the £3 stamp, the first day cover and presentation pack are available to pre-order now prior to the issue date of 24 September.
The commemorative set is the third in a series of three royal issues which have celebrated the life of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge; earlier sets marked the royal couple's engagement and marriage.
Dawn Gallienne, head of philatelic at Guernsey Post, said "We are delighted to have received royal approval and the stamps are now in the process of being printed by our specialist security printers."
She also confirmed that following the stamp issue date of 24 September, every Guernsey and Alderney baby born on the same day as Prince George would receive the commemorative stamp set, including a framed first day cover.
