World first for Post and Go as Jersey and Guernsey collaborate in Melbourne

In a world first, Post & Go stamps from Jersey Post and Guernsey Post will vend from a single kiosk during the Melbourne International FIAP 2017 Stamp Exhibition later this month. The stamps will share a unique number string relating to the kiosk, known as ‘CSP1’, which is owned by Cartor International Security Printers.

This will be the first time a dual country Post & Go kiosk will vend stamps at an international exhibition.

An exhibition overprint reading: ‘Melbourne 2017 Int. Stamp Expo’ will feature on Crest of Jersey stamps as well as Guernsey Flag stamps vended from the CSPI kiosk during the four day event. Both the Crest and the Flag will vend simultaneously from CSP1.

The Melbourne Stamp Exhibition takes place from 28 March to 2 April this year at Caulfield Racecourse, Melbourne, Australia. Those unable to attend will be able to order back office collectors’ strips from Jersey’s and Guernsey’s B002 kiosks through the respective Philatelic Bureaux.
