St Anne's Church is the parish church for the Channel Island of Alderney.
The small , three miles square Island has a close and friendly community and the church is very much at the heart of all that goes on. The main town is St Anne, where a primary and secondary school can be found, along with a post office, hotels, restaurants, banks and shops. This is also where the Church of St Anne is located.
Consecrated in 1850 and celebrating its 170th
anniversary in 2020, the church is acknowledged
as one of the finest Victorian buildings in the Channel Islands.
A special feature of the Church of St Anne is the fact that it is home to a glorious peal of twelve ‘Taylor’ bells. It is the only peal of twelve bells in the Channel Islands.
