Born 31 October 1795 in London, John Keats is one of the greatest English poets and a key figure in the Romantic Movement.  He has become the epitome of the young, doomed poet.

During his short life. Keats wrote some of the most beautiful and timeless poems in the English language.  Among his greatest achievements in his sequence of six lyric odes, written between March and September 1819 when he was just twenty-four years old.  Tragically, he died of tuberculosis in February 1821.
